Pierwszy album studyjny The Gatehring odkąd z holenderską grupą
pożegnała się charyzmatyczna wokalistka Anneke van Giersbergen.
Zastąpiła ją Norweżka Silje Wergeland, znana z zespołu Octavia Sperati.
Na płycie pojawiają się też dwie inne śpiewające panie - Holenderka Anne
van den Hoogen i Meksykanka Marcela Bovio (z grupy Stream Of Passion).
Jak zapewnia perkusista Hans Rutten, nowa płyta jest bardzo żywa,
klimatyczna, z elementami charakterystycznymi dla wcześniejszej muzyki
zespołu, ale też kilkoma nowymi pomysłami.
Produkcją
zajął się brat Hansa, gitarzysta René Rutten, zaś całość zmiksował Zlaya
Hadzich (producent płyty "Souvenirs") do spółki z René.
