21 lipca 1990 roku Roger Waters zaoferował
światu jedno z najbardziej pamiętnych wydarzeń w historii rocka.
Wspólnie z gwiazdami takimi jak Bryan Adams, Cyndi Lauper, Joni
Mitchell, Van Morrison, Sinead O'Connor i Scorpions zaprezentował na
żywo, na Potsdamer Platz w Berlinie "The Wall", legendarny album grupy
Pink Floyd. Było to wydarzenie o tyle donioślejsze, bo przecież osiem
miesięcy wcześniej runął ten prawdziwy Mur Berliński.
Ten epicki koncert został wreszcie wydany na
płycie DVD z niesamowicie zremasterowanym obrazem i wspaniałym dźwiękiem
w systemie 5.1 opracowanym, na podstawie śladów rejestrowanych podczas
imprezy, przez Nicka Griffa, który był w jego trakcie inżynierem dźwięku.
