W 1983r. Lee Brilleaux powołał do życia nowy skład zespołu Dr Feelgood,
w którym znaleźli się: Gordon Russell (giatara), Phil Mitchell (bas) i
Kevin Morris (perkusja). Grali oczywiście rhythm&bluesa najwyższej
próby, a podczas następnych sześciu lat wiele koncertowali i nagrali
cztery albumy: "Doctor's Orders", "Mad Man Blues", "Brilleaux" i
"Classic" - dwa ostatnie dla uznanej wytwórni Stiff. Na tej kompilacji
znalazły się najlepsze nagrania z tego okresu (albumy "Brilleaux" i
"Classic" zamieszczono w całości).
